Stockmeier Group buys Creamy Creation
By Nicola CarruthersGermany-based Stockmeier Group has acquired B2B (business-to-business) liqueur developer and manufacturer Creamy Creation, marking its entry into the alcohol sector.

Primarily known for distributing and producing chemicals, family-run Stockmeier Group said the deal strengthens its international presence and broadens its product portfolio, particularly in the ‘high-growth beverage sector’.
Creamy Creation is a business-to-business (B2B) operator in the development and production of cream liqueurs and performance nutrition products.
The company specialises in traditional dairy cream liqueurs, alongside plant-based versions and ready-to-drink products.
In addition to its headquarters and production site in Rijkevoort in the Netherlands, Creamy Creation has a manufacturing facility in New York as well as research and development centres in New Jersey, US, and Rijkevoort. The company has approximately 110 employees.
Founded in 1979, Creamy Creation is said to be a leader in the US and Europe, and holds a ‘strong position’ in Latin America, Asia Pacific and Africa.
Peter Stockmeier, owner and CEO of Stockmeier Group, said: “With the acquisition of Creamy Creation, we gain access to the global food and beverage sector, and gain access to the important US market.
“This is a significant step in strengthening our global positioning. We look forward to close collaboration with the Creamy Creation team and warmly welcome all new colleagues to the Stockmeier Group.”
Stockmeier Food is one of four divisions of the group since 1995. It focuses on the development, production and global distribution of flavours, and trades in raw materials and additives for the food industry. The portfolio includes customised flavour solutions, seasoning and food ingredients.
Creamy Creation will continue to operate under its own brand as an independent business unit within Stockmeier Food.
‘Tremendous potential’
André de Haan, CEO of Creamy Creation, added: “This partnership brings together competencies that can unlock tremendous potential for our customers in the alcoholic beverage and the nutritional beverage segment.
“The joint development and production capabilities of Stockmeier Food and Creamy Creation will allow us to even better support our customers in creating innovative, great-tasting, on-trend products.
“Synergies will further arise not only from the combination of our product offerings (both liquid and powder) but also from the strengthening of the global sales teams. This opens up opportunities that we will seize together.”
Furthermore, the purchase of Creamy Creation offers “great opportunities to expand joint reach in the alcoholic beverage sector”, including new regions such as Africa and Asia Pacific, according to Stockmeier Food managing director Harald Hoffmann.
Financial terms of the acquisition, which was completed on 28 October, have not been disclosed.
