Del Suelo Mezcal embarks on European launch tour
By Miona MadsenNew mezcal brand Del Suelo is making its European debut this month with a series of events hosted by Gregory Buda.

Co-founded by Kirker Greer Spirits, Del Suelo Mezcal will be introduced to the market through a series of agave masterclasses, tasting sessions and evening pop-ups.
The events will be led by Buda, bar operator and educator, renowned for his work at The Dead Rabbit in New York.
The brand made its first major UK showcase on 15 October at Side Hustle at The NoMad London.
The launch took place during London Cocktail Week, drawing in bartenders, industry professionals and mezcal enthusiasts. Attendees participated in an educational masterclass and enjoyed cocktails showcasing the flavours of Del Suelo’s single-variety expressions.
After London, Del Suelo travels to Warsaw, Poland, on 20 October to host an exclusive hospitality workshop at Donkey Shoe, a venue owned by Full House Group that focuses on agave-based spirits. Led by Buda, the event is said to showcase the craftsmanship, sustainability, and heritage of Del Suelo, followed by an evening of mezcal cocktails at the bar.
On 23 October, Del Suelo will take over Copenhagen’s Barking Dog for exclusive European showcases.
The brand offers four distinct expressions: Espadín, Liso, Tobalá, and Madrecuishe. Each spirit sits at 45% ABV and highlights the flavour and complexity of a single agave variety.
To help drinkers understand the subtle differences between the varietals, each bottle features a unique visual tasting symbol.
Buda commented: “Del Suelo is about more than just mezcal, it’s about honouring the land, respecting tradition, and creating spirits that are both deeply authentic and exciting for today’s consumers.
“These events are about sharing that story, bringing bartenders and consumers closer to the rich culture and liquid coming from Oaxaca.”
Del Suelo is now available in the UK and Europe through Kirker Greer Spirits, with a recommended retail price of £60 (US$81) to £90 (US$121) for a 700ml bottle.
Founded earlier this month by Kirker Greer, the mezcal brand is the company’s first agave spirit. Other brands in Kirker Greer’s portfolio include Ukiyo Japanese Spirits, Born Irish stout-finished spirit drink, and the newly launched premium blended Irish whiskey range, The Kirker Four Seasons Collection.
