Returning for its fourth year, bartenders based in the UK are tasked with creating an original cocktail recipe using at least 40ml of High West Whiskey. Samples are available from local Marusssia Beverages representatives.

The recipe and an accompanying photo of the cocktail should be emailed to highwestmx@cbrands.com, and include the bartender’s full name, city, and bar.

After careful consideration, the top 10 entries will be invited to compete in the UK final, which will take place on 3 November at Odyssey Bar in London.

The UK winner will be crowned that same evening, securing their spot in the European final in Chamonix, France, from 25-28 January 2026.

Competitors will be judged across four key criteria: flavour, originality, appearance, and presentation.

The contest aims to bring the mountain magic of Park City in the US, home of the High West Distillery, to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in the French Alps.

Constellation Brands has owned High West Whiskey since its acquisition in 2016.

Established in 2006, High West became Utah’s first legal distillery since 1870. Founded by David and Jane Perkins, the distillery has spent the last two decades putting the state’s whiskey-making on the map.

The brand produces its whiskey at the Blue Sky Ranch Distillery in Park City. In 2024, the distillery produced 3.3 million bottles of whiskey – a huge jump from the 300,000 bottles it created eight years prior.
