V Rum and London Dungeon partner for Halloween

English brand V Rum has become the exclusive cocktail partner of The London Dungeon, leading up to Halloween.

To celebrate the partnership, V Rum has created a unique rum called RedRum. The name is ‘murder’ spelt backwards, which the brand says provides a ‘dark nod’ to notorious figures from Victorian London, such as Jack the Ripper and the sinister Plague Doctor.

Carl Churchill, founder of V Rum, said: “Partnering with The London Dungeon is a perfect fit for V Rum, and we wanted to create something truly unique to mark the occasion. That’s where RedRum was born – a bespoke rum crafted exclusively for the Dungeon, inspired by the infamous characters of Victorian London and the chilling stories the attraction brings to life. It’s bold, dark, and full of character, just like the Dungeon itself.

RedRum is available for purchase in the London Dungeon gift shop for a limited time for £30 (US$41).

Visitors at The London Dungeon will also be able to enjoy three exclusive cocktails: the blood-red The Ripper, Plague-colada, and Torturer’s Tipple.

As part of the partnership, V Rum and The London Dungeon will host two exclusive Halloween-themed 60-minute rum cocktail masterclasses with guided tours of the Dungeon from September to October.

During the hands-on experience, participants will have the opportunity to create and enjoy their own ‘spooky cocktails’.

Churchill added: “We’ve developed three signature Dungeon-themed cocktails that will be on the menu until Halloween, giving guests the chance to toast the season in suitably sinister style. Combined with our immersive masterclasses, visitors will be able to experience V Rum in a way that’s theatrical, memorable, and unlike anything else.”

A London Dungeon spokesperson added: “The London Dungeon is all about unforgettable experiences, and this partnership with V Rum allows us to extend that into our tavern.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our guests something different with the specially crafted RedRum, the exclusive cocktails, and the cocktail masterclasses, bringing something brand new and interactive for our guests to enjoy.”

Earlier this month, V Spirits Company, the owner of V Rum, appointed Johnny Neill as portfolio director to drive new product development and growth.
