Dubbed as a world’s first, the canned cocktail combines vodka and darkroast coffee with notes of chocolate and pistachio. It is said to be a nutty twist on the classic Espresso Martini, inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate trend. The 8% ABV canned cocktail is priced at £2.50, and is exclusively available at Morrisons in the UK.

Ardbeg closes chapter on Anthology series
Islay whisky distillery Ardbeg released the third and final limited-edition single malt whisky in its Anthology series.
The trilogy series is inspired by mythical creatures, with this whisky named The Beithir’s Tale, after a mythological serpent- like beast. The Beithir’s Tale is the distillery’s first whisky matured in designer, air-seasoned, heavily toasted and lightly charred Bourbon casks. It was matured for 15 years, and has notes of vanilla and smoked butter, alongside Ardbeg’s classic aromatic flavours of peat smoke, fennel, eucalyptus and pine.
Gillian Macdonald, master blender of Ardbeg, said: “The sweet and smoky ‘hybrids’ of Ardbeg Anthology are as experimental as they come.”
Ardbeg Anthology: The Beithir’s Tale has an ABV of 46%, and retails for £135 (US$179).
Cotswolds plays the field in latest whisky series
English distillery Cotswolds launched Woodlands Farm Whisky, the first expression in its second Field to Cask series.
The series pays tribute to specific locations that have played a role in Cotswolds’ whisky-production journey, from the barley fields to the farm buildings. Woodlands Farm was drawn from a single first- fill STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) cask, and matured at the Woodlands Farm in Long Compton, a few miles from the distillery.
The 62.2% ABV whisky has aromas of coconut, dried pineapple, and spiced plum, followed on the palate by strawberries, caramelised sugar, red apple and cinnamon notes. The release is limited to 126 bottles, retailing for £125 (US$169) exclusively from Cotswolds Distillery. It is the first in the trio of whiskies that make up the second Field to Cask series.

The flavours are mixed with the distillery’s rum, and offered at 7% ABV. They are packaged in 250ml sustainably sourced recycled- aluminium cans.
Carl Churchill, CEO of V Spirits Company, said: “We recognised a clear opportunity in the booming ready-to-drink (RTD) category to bring bar-quality rum into a convenient premixed can format, without compromising on quality or sustainability. These RTDs stay true to our craft ethos: premium British rum, responsibly made, packaged for modern lifestyles.”

The launch coincides with the opening of the distillery’s new visitor centre at L’Aventure du Sucre, in Pamplemousses, Mauritius, slated for November 2025.
Harrison Ford gives 25YO Glenmorangie his seal of approval
Scottish whisky distillery Glenmorangie released a 25-year-old single malt called The Altus.
It was created by the brand’s master distiller, Dr Bill Lumsden, who drew from Glenmorangie’s 1995 Madeira-finished whisky for inspiration – finishing a marriage of Bourbon-cask-aged whiskies in Malmsey Madeira wine casks. The 43% ABV whisky is available for £550 (US$740), as part of the distillery’s core range.
The Altus also featured in episode 10 of Glenmorangie’s Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign, starring actor Harrison Ford.
Kahlúa collaboration is worth the dough

Pernod Ricard-owned Kahlúa teamed up with Dunkin’ to create Caramel Swirl Cream liqueur.
The liqueur features a blend of the doughnut and coffee brand’s ‘flavour swirls’, Kahlúa’s rum, and 100% Arabica coffee. It has caramel notes of toffee, vanilla, and dulce de leche, blended with hints of coffee and chocolate. Sitting at 16% ABV, Caramel Swirl Cream liqueur is available from retailers in the US.
Dunkin’s vice- president of retail business development, Brian Gilbert, called the collaboration a “bold step in the cream liqueur category for both brands and a delicious new treat for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts alike”.
Kahlúa, meanwhile, said the move is its ‘largest investment’ in the cream liqueur category.
Macallan spills the tea on a pair of single malts
Edrington-owned The Macallan has launched two tea-inspired single malts as part of its Harmony Collection.
The Scotch brand collaborated with tea brand Jing on the two releases – named Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea (43.9% ABV) and Inspired by Cherrywood Lapsang Tea (44.9% ABV).
The former honours the flower used to create aromatic oolong tea, and was predominantly matured in Sherryseasoned American oak casks. The latter draws inspiration from Jing’s Organic Cherrywood Lapsang tea, and was primarily matured in Sherryseasoned European oak casks.
Almave back on the grid with non-alcoholic release
Non-alcoholic agave ‘spirit’ brand Almave, co-founded by Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, has expanded its lineup with a non-alcoholic mezcal alternative: Humo.
The brand said Humo “not only fills a significant white space in the market, but also redefines the nonalcoholic landscape through the adaptation of the time-honoured method of mezcal production”.
Humo is made with espadín agave harvested from the foot of the Popocatépetl volcano in Puebla, Mexico. Iván Saldaña, Almave master distiller, and a co-founder of Casa Lumbre Spirits, said it offers “distinct, smoky notes for those seeking complex cocktails while embracing a lifestyle beyond proof”.
The drink retails for US$36.99 per 700ml bottle.
Torres brings Spanish vermouth to the UK
Familia Torres’ Casals Mediterranean Vermouth is now available for purchase in the UK.
To bring its vermouth to the UK market, the Spanish producer partnered with Cask Liquid Marketing, a distributor that Christian Visalli, spirits global managing director at Familia Torres, said has a “strong presence in the on-trade channel”.
The vermouth is part of Familia Torres’ spirits division, Juan Torres Master Distillers. It is inspired by an old family recipe and made from ancestral Catalan grape varieties. These are aged for three years in oak barrels and then infused with a selection of hand- pressed Mediterranean botanicals from Penedés in Spain, such as olive leaves, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon and citrus peels.
The vermouth is available in the UK at Master of Malt for £20.95 (US$28) for a 750ml bottle.
