Tamar Gin has gained attention for its signature Medjool date essence since its launch last year. This year, its Luxembourg-based founder has expanded the portfolio with two new brands: Crazy Monday Gin and Queen’s Caviar Vodka.

Yuri Demeyer launched Crazy Monday in 2016. He decided to sell the gin brand due to personal health issues.

Under its new ownership, the brand plans to expand distribution from China and Japan to France, Germany, Luxembourg, and the United Arab Emirates.

Crazy Monday Gin combines juniper with botanicals such as coriander, angelica root, cardamom, iris root, blueberries, and black pepper. It is offered at 46% ABV in 500ml bottles.

Queen’s Caviar Vodka, on the other hand, was launched in 2021 by two young Belgian entrepreneurs. The vodka is described as a spirit where ‘East meets West’, combining certified organic grain-based alcohol with real Ossetra caviar.

Olinger aims to revive the brand, which has shown ‘huge potential’ for export to foreign markets.

He explained: “Many copycats use seaweed and oils to infuse the vodka. We massage fresh caviar into our vodka, resulting in a magnificent, silky, nutty finish.”

Queen’s Caviar comes in a 700ml bottle at 42% ABV and can be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail.
