Pitch & Pour PR set to shake up drinks comms

Union Press has launched Pitch & Pour PR – a new boutique PR offering for the global wine and spirits industry.

Pitch & Pour PR is an independent arm under the Union Press umbrella, and will be headed up by Alex Holbrook, former PR manager at Master of Malt.

Holbrook brings almost 20 years of experience to the company.

“Pitch & Pour was born from a simple idea – that great stories still matter,” Holbrook said. “After nearly two decades working in PR and communications, with global names and niche disruptors alike, I’ve seen what happens when brands stop chasing noise and start telling stories with intent.

“This new partnership is about reshaping how the drinks world approaches publicity – mixing creative instinct with hard-earned industry know-how to create PR that actually delivers.

“We’re here for both SMEs and drinks brands who want to grow globally, giving them tailored strategies, deep media relationships, and the guaranteed exposure they need to cut through in a crowded market.

“In today’s climate, strong PR isn’t a luxury – it’s the difference between being noticed once and being remembered. I’m delighted to be collaborating with the teams to rethink how drinks brands tell their stories and how news is made, meaning that we craft and curate agendas that resonate.”

Holbrook will work closely with brands to shape their PR and media strategies, including influencer strategies, partnerships and collaborations.
