Nicholson teams up with Chelsea FC

English brand Nicholson has been appointed as the official cocktail supplier for Chelsea Football Club in London.

Both ‘born and bred’ in the English capital, the Nicholson and Chelsea FC partnership is described as a fusion of tradition, innovation, and shared values.

The club will be working with Nicholson to elevate the matchday experience at both Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow stadiums, where fans can enjoy the brand’s pre-mixed cocktails, including Blood Orange and Original gin and tonics, as well as Espresso Martini.

Oliver Boden, partnership sales director for Chelsea FC, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nicholson as an official supplier of Chelsea Football Club. As a brand with deep London roots and a clear passion for innovation, Nicholson aligns perfectly with the club and our vision for enhancing the matchday experience for all fans.

“This venture will bring fresh and exciting products to our venues and offer fans new, high-quality ways to enjoy their time with us.”

The partnership kicked off on 30 August at the men’s team’s home fixture against Fulham. With the Chelsea women’s team, the cocktails will start flowing on 5 September, at the team’s first game of the season against Manchester City.

At Stamford Bridge, Nicholson will introduce a tap-based cocktail system, aiming to give fans more choice and time to enjoy a cocktail experience on matchday.

A low-alcohol option is also planned as part of a shared commitment to support responsible enjoyment.

The agreement will focus on the Chelsea FC women’s team, offering Nicholson’s pre-mixed cocktails for fans in the ‘Bottomless at the Bridge’ hospitality area, as well as in other general admission areas across both stadiums.

This season, select matches at Stamford Bridge will also introduce ‘in-bowl’ drinking for the women’s team fixtures, allowing fans to enjoy Nicholson products during the games.

Earlier this year, Nicholson was named the official canned cocktail partner of London nightclub Ministry of Sound.
