New Double Dutch tonic brings taste of Riviera
By Georgie CollinsPremium mixer brand Double Dutch has responded to the growing demand for Mediterranean-inspired serves by introducing a Riviera tonic water to the on-trade.

Double Dutch Riviera Tonic Water – a light, botanical blend of aromatic thyme, rosemary, bittersweet wormwood and zesty lemon – was inspired by ‘sunlit coastlines and the art of slow, indulgent sipping’, and has been crafted to transport drinkers ‘straight to the Riviera’ from wherever they are in the world.
“Riviera Tonic is about capturing that golden hour feeling – bright, refreshing, and full of character. We wanted to create a mixer that delivers that sense of escape in every serve,” said Raissa and Joyce de Haas, co-founders and CEOs of Double Dutch.
The new expression, which was ‘designed for hospitality’, has been built on the crisp base of Double Dutch’s Indian Tonic Water, and is said to offer bartenders a versatile, premium mixer that works with all classic dry gins – specifically those with citrus-forward or herbaceous styles – as well as coastal Spritzes and creative no- and low-alcohol cocktails.
Alternatively, it can be mixed with a white vermouth for a fresh, botanical twist or paired with the likes of limoncello, a rosé aperitivo, Tequila or Scotch.
The launch of Riviera Tonic Water comes as Double Dutch celebrates its 10th birthday and continues to strengthen its presence in premium hospitality venues across the UK and globally.
Recent new UK listings include W London Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel at Tower Bridge, and The Chancery Rosewood, joining an existing portfolio of venues such as Soho House, The Ned, Arts Club, Dorian, Groucho Club, Park Chinois, Hakkasan, The National Theatre, and Dishoom.
The brand has recently unveiled a bespoke bottle design, featuring lightweight glass and vibrant labels that reflect Double Dutch’s bold personality while supporting its sustainability commitments.
