Ginplz to debut at BCB
By Miona MadsenPortuguese rice-based gin Ginplz will officially launch in October at Bar Convent Berlin (BCB).

Built on a rice-based neutral spirit, the Mediterranean-inspired gin is distilled in traditional copper pot stills in southern Portugal.
Ginplz is described as ‘a celebration of citrus,’ crafted using home-grown botanicals.
It features a backbone of piney juniper complemented by a variety of citrus fruits and herbs, including lemon and orange peels, bitter orange, orange blossom, olive leaf, rosemary, clove and cardamom.
The rice base is said to contribute to the gin’s ‘silky, subtly sweet mouthfeel’ that allows the botanicals to shine.
Offered at 43% ABV in 500ml bottles, Ginplz is designed for evening celebrations, shaken or stirred in cocktails.
The premium Portuguese gin will make its debut at BCB from 6-8 October at the Exhibition Centre Berlin.
