Fireball introduces Blazin’ Apple

Sazerac-owned Fireball Cinnamon Whisky has introduced a first flavour variant to its permanent range: Blazin’ Apple.

The new release combines Fireball’s signature cinnamon heat with sweet and crisp apple flavour.

Blazin’ Apple is the first-ever flavour extension of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, which was launched in 2007 by the Sazerac Company.

Danny Suich, global brand director for Fireball, said: “Apples have had some iconic moments in mythology, fairy tales, even history books – but let’s be real, their true peak is pairing with Fireball.

“Call it bold, but we’re betting Blazin’ Apple earns its spot in the apple hall of fame. We think our fans are going to love this temptation in a bottle.”

To celebrate the launch, the brand has partnered with Parks and Recreation actor Ben Schwartz for a creative campaign.

The advertisements on television and digital platforms are designed to incorporate memorable moments involving apples throughout history, including references to Snow White, William Tell, and Sir Isaac Newton, all infused with humour.

Schwartz commented on the campaign: “The wheel. The computer. And now Fireball Blazin’ Apple. When you get a call about teaming up with an invention that will most definitely change the world forever, you pick up that phone (another invention that should have been on my list if I didn’t follow the rule of threes).

“It is a joy when you get to team up with a merry band of misfits who all want to have fun and make people laugh in their messaging. We had a blast with this campaign. The future is apples, and it is looking bright… and Blazin.’ Because of the name of the apples in the new Fireball.”

Blazin’ Apple is bottled at 33% ABV and is now available nationwide in the US in 50ml and 750ml formats.

Earlier this year, Fireball launched a campaign offering a lifetime supply of cinnamon whisky to fans over the age of 90.
