Cygnet Gin expands to US with Southern Glazer’s
By Miona MadsenWelsh gin brand Cygnet has secured a national distribution deal with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, marking the brand’s debut in the US.

Classical singer Katherine Jenkins OBE and her husband, social impact film director Andrew Levitas, launched Cygnet Gin in 2023. Their goal was to redefine and elevate the gin category, much like what luxury brands have achieved in Tequila, vodka, and rum.
Matteo Fantacchiotti, chairman of Cygnet Gin, said: “This agreement with Southern Glazer’s represents a defining moment for Cygnet Gin. Their scale, expertise, and passion for premium spirits make them the ideal collaborator to help us on our mission to build a new luxury segment in gin and to create more value for consumers and customers.
“We are excited to begin this journey together and grateful to the Southern Glazer’s executive team for the trust and support.”
Southern Glazer’s will distribute the brand’s entire portfolio, starting with two expressions – Cygnet 22, made with Manuka honey, and 77 cask-aged gin – from October 2025.
Cygnet 22 will retail for US$66, while Cygnet 77 has a suggested retail price of US$150. Both gins are designed to be enjoyed neat.
Initially focusing on New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, Cygnet will be expanding its presence in top bars, high-end restaurants, and speciality retailers.
This year has been eventful for the brand, marked by multiple new hires to strengthen its team and global expansion efforts. These include two ex-Diageo executives: Vedran Milosevic as global managing director and Katie Potter-Jones as global marketing director.
