BuzzBallz unveils new grape flavour and kettlebell
By Lauren BowesReady-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand BuzzBallz has released an 80s-inspired flavour and a branded kettlebell.

Grapes Gone Wild will hit shelves in the US this month and is described as a ‘taste of pure purple nostalgia’.
The brand said: “Think grape slushies, colourful leg warmers, and scratch-and-sniff stickers bottled up for grown-ups. This showstopper in a can brings back the wild side of grape and proves we’ve got the biggest Ballz in flavour.”
To celebrate the launch, BuzzBallz has also introduced KettleBallz, a five-pound, grape-scented kettlebell modelled after the brand’s Biggie drinks.
The kettlebell can hold up to 1.5 litres of cocktail and comes with grape-scented sweatbands, wristbands and a cooling towel for US$20.
“BuzzBallz knows how to have fun with bold flavours and unexpected launches, and Grapes Gone Wild is no exception,” said Jess Scheerhorn, BuzzBallz vice-president at Sazerac. “What’s more unexpected than a kettlebell you can sip? It’s proof that some things (all things?) are just better with extra Ballz in tow.”

The Sazerac-owned brand has also partnered with rapper and comedian David Burd – aka Lil Dicky – to market the new products. Burd will feature in fake workout infomercials and ‘tongue-in-cheek’ skits.
Burd said: “I just got hip to BuzzBallz and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long. As soon as I took my first sip, I knew I was super down to collaborate. The 80s workout vibe was the perfect playground to go all-in on something loud and over the top for Grapes Gone Wild.”
The KettleBallz Kit will be available from 3 October, with fans needed to sign up in advance to get access.
The Grapes Gone Wild BuzzBallz will roll out across the US from this month in 187ml, 200ml, 1.5-litre, and 1.75-litre sizes.
The move marks the latest in a line of unconventional marketing and merchandise launches from the brand. In July, BuzzBallz debuted a limited edition inflatable pool shaped like its packaging.
Sazerac acquired the RTD brand in May 2024.
