Langley’s Gin makes waves in Poland
By Miona MadsenCharter Brands has partnered with MV Group Distribution to launch Langley’s Gin in Poland as part of the brand’s global growth strategy.

To increase brand recognition and market share in Poland, MV Group Distribution added the full range of Langley’s premium gins to its portfolio eight months ago, including Dry Gin, First Chapter, and Old Tom Gin.
Sinéad van Zijl, business development manager at Charter Brands, said: “We are delighted to announce MV Group Distribution Poland (PL) as our official distribution partner for Langley’s Gin. From the outset, Piotr Kujawiak and Karolina Kowalska have shown exceptional professionalism, clear strategic thinking, and an impressive understanding of the spirit’s landscape. Their commitment to execution and brand-building has made this journey both smooth and energising.
“Poland’s gin category has shown consistent growth over recent years, with IWSR reporting year-on-year volume increases and continued premiumisation in the segment – a clear signal of untapped potential. With MV Group PL’s strong route to market, experienced sales force, and a track record of building respected international brands, we are confident that Langley’s will thrive in their portfolio.
“We see a significant opportunity to grow brand recognition and market share in Poland and believe MV Group Distribution Poland is exactly the kind of partner to unlock that next chapter for Langley’s Gin.”
The premium gin category in Poland continues to expand, driven by global trends, cocktail culture, and the growing popularity of gin and tonics, particularly in the on-trade.
Langley’s Gin is the house-pouring gin within the MV Group Distribution portfolio, attracting both consumers and bartenders.
Piotr Kujawiak, brand ambassador at MV Group Distribution PL, added: “As MV Group Distribution PL, we are on a mission to diversify our portfolio and provide the best-quality products to our clients.
“For 20 years, we have been building our portfolio with well-respected and renowned producers like Angostura, Whyte & Mackay, and Sandeman. That is why we decided to partner with Charter Brands and introduce Langley’s Gin to our portfolio.
“The gin category in Poland is still growing year on year, and there is still a lot of potential in the category itself. We believe that with close cooperation between MV Group Distribution PL and Charter Brands, Langley’s – with its outstanding quality – has the capability to become a well-recognised brand among Polish consumers.”
Earlier this year, Langley’s Gin made its market debut in Cyprus and three Baltic states.
