Gin crafted with snow from Everest summit
By Georgie CollinsThe Adventurers Drinks Company has unveiled its small batch Everest Gin, made with botanicals found in the Himalayan foothills and snow collected from the summit of the eponymous mountain.

Inspired by world-renowned British climber Kenton Cool, Everest Gin is said to embody the spirit of resilience, purity, and adventure, with each bottle hand-crafted using select herbs and spices found in the lower reaches of the Himalayas, and every bottle containing a single drop of melted snow collected from the summit of Mount Everest by Cool during his record-breaking 19th successful ascent.
The botanicals collected in the Himalayan foothills include juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamon, pepper and bay leaf, and were chosen to ‘capture the untamed purity of the world’s greatest mountain’.
The gin is described as bright, aromatic, and layered with herbal complexity, offerings ‘a rare taste of altitude, wilderness, and wonder’.
“Everest Gin isn’t just a drink, it is an experience,” said Cool. “Each bottle holds a piece of the mountain. It represents the pinnacle of human endurance, and the untamed spirit of exploration.”
The Adventurers Drinks Company said it is dedicated to creating premium drinks that celebrate the world’s most iconic landscapes and the bold individuals who explore them.
Everest Gin is the company’s latest spirit, which it said is a testament to craftsmanship, authenticity, and pushing boundaries.
“This isn’t just about launching a gin,” said Phil Kite, founder of The Adventurers Drinks Company. “It’s about bottling a story that speaks to every adventurer, those who climb literal mountains and those who face their own.”
A portion of profits from the sale of every bottle will be donated to The Gurkha Welfare Trust, which provides financial, medical and development aid to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities.
Everest Gin is available online at www.adventurersdrinks.co.uk for £37.50 (US$50).
In addition, 19 limited edition bottles signed by Cool – reflecting his 19 successful ascents of Everest – will also be sold at a special price with all the profits going to the same cause.
