Whisky Hammer grows with Netherlands site
Online auctioneer Whisky Hammer will begin operating a new site in the Netherlands, which will coincide with its 10th anniversary this year.

Located in Rijn in the Netherlands, the new base will be Whisky Hammer BV and will be the company’s first in mainland Europe. It is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2025.
Craig and Daniel Milne are the founding brothers behind the auction house.
David Milne, co-founder and CEO, said: “What began as a passion project has grown beyond anything we imagined. As we celebrate a decade in business, we are incredibly grateful to our team and our loyal customers who have supported us every step of the way.
“Our European customers are an integral part of the Whisky Hammer community. Launching our Dutch base means we can offer a smoother, more accessible service to our current clients – and welcome many new ones as well.”
Whisky Hammer was established in Aberdeenshire in Scotland and has thousands of customers around the world.
The firm is now seeking a general manager and Dutch team to oversee the new opening.
Craig Milne, co-founder and operations director, added: “Opening a new base in the Netherlands is a fitting way to mark our 10-year milestone. This move brings us closer to our European clients and reinforces our commitment to excellent customer service.
“Every bottle entrusted to us is handled with care and respect, and we look forward to offering our renowned service to an even broader audience.”
