The series is based around the bar’s core pillars of education, environment and community.

This year’s event will take place on 7-9 September and bring together nine bartenders and venues from around the world.

As with its first two editions, The Cambridge will host three guest shifts each night.

The first night will feature Ezra Star, from Mostly Harmless in Hong Kong; Josh Harris, from Trick Dog in San Francisco, US; and Valeria Naranjo, AKA Varmaid, a freelance bartender from Spain.

On 8 September, guests can enjoy drinks from Evan Stroeve, from The Waratah in New South Wales, Australia; Ruben Neideck, from Velvet in Berlin, Germany; and Gabriela Leon, from Lady Bee in Peru.

Finally, closing the event are Tomek Malek from Donkey Shoe in Poland; Kaitlin Wiles of The Ada Coleman Project; and Benji Cavagna from 1930 in Milan, Italy.

Each guest will offer a selection of bespoke cocktails that are available for just an hour and a half on their dedicated evening. The serves are intended to highlight the artistry of each guest bartender and reflect their venues, cultures and communities.

The Global Series event will also offer seminars to inspire, educate and celebrate the hospitality industry, led by drinks writer François Monti on 8 September at the 1K Hotel in Paris.

Christophe Davoine, Suntory brand ambassador and vice-president of the Association des Barmen de France, will give his perspectives on education.

Meanwhile, Jen Riley, owner of Sister Midnight in Paris, will represent the community aspect of the series. She will explore how bars can create inclusive spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.

Mixologist and botanist Emanuele Balestra will address the environment pillar, sharing some of his practices, such as rooftop and hotel garden beekeeping, and transforming ingredient waste into perfume.

Hyacinthe Lescoët, co-owner of The Cambridge, said: “We’re thrilled to bring back our Global Series for its third year. Over the past couple of years, it’s been an incredible journey hosting, showcasing, and learning from some of the most talented professionals in our industry.

“This year’s event promises to be just as inspiring as we continue to champion our three core pillars: education, environment, and community. With an outstanding lineup of guest speakers and exceptional bars joining us, we can’t wait to see what this year’s series will bring.”

Last year’s Global Series event coincided with Paris’ hosting of the Olympics.
