Peddlers Gin launches cocktail contest
Gin brand Peddlers is inviting Canadian bartenders to enter its cocktail competition for the chance to win a trip to China.

The Shanghai-based gin brand is running its Peddlers Passage cocktail competition from 15 July to 15 August, open to bartenders in Western Canada.
Up for grabs is a trip to China with stops in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shanghai. Bartenders will have the opportunity to partner with China’s top bars and showcase Canada’s cocktail scene.
“Our goal is to provide a connection between the China bar and spirits industry, and the world,” says Rio Liu, Peddlers Gin co-founder. “We are very excited to promote Chinese spirits in Canada, as well as build community between the two countries.”
One winner from Alberta and one from British Columbia will be chosen to join the brand in China this September for the first edition of ‘Last Call for Shanghai’.
The gin is made with ingredients such as Sichuan pepper and Buddha’s hand. The brand is available in more than 20 countries around the world.
