New York Rum Festival shares 2026 date

On the heels of its most recent showcase, the New York Rum Festival has announced it will return to Brooklyn next June.

The New York Rum Fest welcomes hundreds of attendees each year

Hosted by The Rum Lab, next year’s New York Rum Festival will once again be held at 100 Sutton Studios in Brooklyn.

The event will take place on 13 June 2026, with tickets on sale from today (16 July). Attendees are encouraged to book early, as this year’s event sold out.

Hundreds of rum lovers, trade professionals, bartenders, and content creators came together in June. They were able to sample more than 200 rum expressions from countries like Fiji, Australia, Reunion Island, Spain, Venezuela, Martinique, and Jamaica.

There was a spotlight on new emerging brands as well, such as Neon Silver from Japan, Zhumir from Ecuador, Bacan Guaro from Colombia, and E León Jimenez from the Dominican Republic.

In addition to sampling rums, attendees had the opportunity to sit in on more than 10 curated seminars offering historical context, technical expertise, and cultural immersion. Seminar highlights included ‘History of Australian Rums’, ‘The Spirit of Haiti & Providence’, ‘The Navy Rum Blend Reimagined’, ‘The Art of Time’, ‘Female Leadership in the Rum Industry’, and ‘What Am I: Rum or Aguardiente’.

The Rum Lab will reveal more details on next year’s programming, guest speakers, and participating brands in the coming months.

The Rum Lab is a creative production agency led by Federico J Hernández. The company produces Puerto Rico’s national rum festival and Taste of Rum, as well as the California Rum Festival, Chicago Rum Festival, New York Rum Festival, Texas Rum Fest, Spain Rum & Gin Expo, and the Miami Rum Congress.
