Jim Beam unveils second Lineage release
Suntory Global Spirits-owned Jim Beam has unveiled the second batch release of its Lineage series, co-created by Fred and Freddie Noe.

The new 15-year-old expression follows the series’ first batch release, which was introduced exclusively to global travel retail in early 2021.
The series was created by the seventh- and eighth-generation Beam family master distillers, Frederick ‘Fred’ Booker Noe III and Frederick ‘Freddie’ Booker Noe IV.
Fred, the great-grandson of Jim Beam, was appointed master distiller in 2007. His son, Freddie, became the eighth-generation master distiller in May 2022.
Notably, Lineage is the first release from the distillery to feature Freddie’s name.
Jim Beam Lineage Batch Number Two is a Kentucky straight Bourbon aged for 15 years in charred white oak barrels at the Booker Noe Plant.
Offered at 55.5% ABV, the premium Bourbon presents aromas of creamy toffee, vanilla, and seasoned oak, followed by notes of leather, char, and sweet crème brûlée on the palate.
The new expression is available exclusively at the James B Beam Distilling distillery campus in Clermont, Kentucky, from 18 July. It retails for US$250 for a 700ml bottle.
Earlier this week, James B Beam Distilling added an annual seven-year-old bottled in bond Bourbon to its Old Grand-Dad range.
Jim Beam is the world’s best-selling Bourbon and this year’s World Whisky Brand Champion.
