Jameson Distilled Sounds is the brand’s flagship global music platform with ‘music distiller’ Anderson .Paak, who joins Jameson for a second consecutive year.

The initiative kicked off last year at Jameson’s home in Cork, Ireland, connecting artists from across India, South Africa, Portugal, Nigeria, Indonesia and more. The artists came together to write, record, and perform new music under Paak’s direction.

This year, Paak will lead a new cohort of more than 20 artists from around the world as Jameson continues to grow its music family.

Paak said: “I’m stoked to be back for Jameson Distilled Sounds Year Two. This really is an opportunity for like-minded artists to come together, connect, and learn from one another.

“You’ve got drill next to Amapiano, K-pop crossing over with soul, everyone bringing their own flavour, and we just build and collaborate. It’s not about hits, it’s about heart. That’s the magic.”

Jameson Distilled Sounds is enhancing its offerings with the involvement of Apeshit Inc, the creative house founded by Anderson .Paak.

The company is said to play a key role in shaping the programme by curating talent and pairing artists together, creating new collaborations.

Krystal Miles, general manager of Apeshit Inc, added: “With Apeshit Family, we’re building more than a moment – we’re building a movement. This isn’t just about what happens during the programme; it’s about where it leads.

“We’re focused on expanding our roster beyond North America and tapping into artists who are shaping the sound of now from every corner of the world. Jameson Distilled Sounds is the perfect partner to facilitate this connection with a global community as we continue to discover new sounds.”

Each artist will spend a week fully engaged in the creative process, collaborating, writing, producing, and performing original music inspired by their cultural roots and their global peers. The outcomes will be showcased throughout the summer on the Jameson YouTube Channel, featuring digital performances and masterclasses led by the artists themselves.

Lynda Cody, head of experiences, partnerships, and advocacy at Jameson, said: “Jameson Distilled Sounds is where culture and collaboration meet. We’re celebrating global creativity and helping artists connect beyond borders. This aligns with our global positioning that if people share the same spirit and values –  smooth, welcoming and light-hearted – then no matter where they are from, they ‘Must Be A Jameson’.”

The programme begins with a new short film set in a fictional record shop called World Records, where Paak plays the role of the store’s owner.

In the film, he guides a curious customer through the shelves, selecting records and previewing this year’s most exciting new artists. The clip captures a playful moment that serves as the first reveal of the artists featured in the 2025 Jameson Distilled Sounds lineup, including South African soul singer Lloyiso, and genre-fusing vocalists such as Mary Ann Alexander from India and Monica Karina from Indonesia.
