Garrison Brothers raises 100k for flood relief
Texas distillery Garrison Brothers has made a US$100,000 donation to the Kerr Country Flood Relief Fund following a fundraiser earlier this month.

Texas Hill Country, a region of central and south Texas, suffered severe flooding over the 4 July weekend, with many local distillers springing into action to help those in need.
Garrison Brothers Distillery, located in Hye, Texas, hosted its ‘Guadalupe Relief Day’ on 12 July, dedicating US$50 from each bottle sold of Guadalupe Cask Strength as well as merchandising profits from the day to flood relief efforts.
In total, the distillery’s nonprofit Good Bourbon for a Good Cause raised an initial US$50,000 for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund with Happy State Bank (Fredricksburg) pledging to match the sum.
“Texans look after Texans,” Garrison Brothers co-founder Nancy Garrison said. “Today’s check – and Happy State Bank’s 100% match – proves good Bourbon really can change the world.”
On 7 July, Garrison Brothers set up the online link to collect donations for flood victims with the first US$10,000 collected matched by private donors. The donation link will stay live collecting funds through 1 October.
Guadalupe sales were initially set to go to Gulf Trust before the region was affected by floods. The 2025 release was bottled at 53.5% ABV and priced at US$160. The whiskey was aged for four years and finished in Port casks for 24 months.
