Double Dutch ups the fizz for 10th birthday

Mixer and tonic brand Double Dutch is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new bottle design that allows for better carbonation retention across its whole range.

The new bottles enable 15% more carbonation

The new bottle has been crafted for ‘maximum stand out’ across hospitality – designed to help venues ‘serve up bolder drinks and unforgettable experiences’.

The refreshed design also enables 15% more carbonation in the bottle, delivering a stronger fizz retention than the brand’s previous packaging.

The bottle features a debossed design that enhances back-bar presence and premium shelf appeal for bartenders and consumers, as well as a refreshed, vibrant label featuring Double Dutch’s brand world and metallic logo.

In addition, it boasts a new crown cap design, while remaining the lightest bottle on the market, keeping its carbon footprint low in keeping with Double Dutch’s B Corp status.

“To celebrate a decade of deliciousness, we’re unveiling our boldest look yet: our brand-new dress code,” said co-founders and joint CEOs Raissa and Joyce de Haas. “A chic new bottle with vibrant swirls and a bold new label. It’s still the lightest mixer bottle on the market – because looking good and doing good go hand in hand – and now it’s packed with 15% more sparkle to dial up the fizz.

“Born to mix and raised to party, we’ve spent 10 years pushing flavour boundaries and serving up surprises with every sip. We’re not just older – we’re bolder.”

The refreshed bottle launch comes as Double Dutch continues to grow its footprint in the UK and internationally, alongside upcoming new market entries in Latin America.

Recent new listings include venues such as W London Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel at Tower Bridge. The brand will also be served at The Chancery Rosewood upon its launch.

The listings join an existing portfolio of London venues such as Soho House, The Ned, Arts Club, Dorian, Groucho Club, Park Chinois, Hakkasan, The National Theatre, and Dishoom.

The portfolio includes ‘flavourful’ mixers such as Cucumber & Watermelon, Pomegranate & Basil, Cranberry & Ginger Tonic as well as a premium Skinny Tonic Water, Ginger Ale and Ginger Beer.

In 2020, the brand released two limited edition cocktail sodas, Bloody Mary and Cucumber Margarita.
