The family-owned estate in Domaine de La Voûte was established in 1850. It produces Grande Champagne blends and single vintage Cognacs.

Maison Ragnaud-Sabourin has welcomed Louboutin and entrepreneur Alexis Dyèvre as shareholders.

Louboutin’s other personal investments in heritage preservation projects include the Kerdalo Gardens in Brittany and the French rattan and woven furniture manufacturer Maison Gatti.

His investment is said to reaffirm his commitment to French artisanal tradition and ‘the preservation of exceptional craftsmanship’.

Marine Deschamps, managing partner of Maison Ragnaud-Sabourin, said: “We are delighted to welcome Christian and Alexis alongside the Ragnaud-Sabourin family. This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for the House, aiming to expand our international distribution and strengthen our presence in prestigious venues.”

The Cognac brand looks forward to hosting a tasting event in the coming year, as well as launching a limited edition product.

Cognac Ragnaud-Sabourin is distributed by Marussia UK and Georges Barbier of London. It can be found in both the on- and off-trade, from venues such as Hedonism Wines, The Whisky Exchange, The Peninsula and the Ivy Collection.
