BuzzBallz makes a splash with inflatable pool
Ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand BuzzBallz has created a giant, limited edition inflatable pool shaped like its packaging.
The above-ground pool is fully functional and designed to ‘turn basic backyards into full-blown BuzzBallz celebrations’. It measures nearly six feet wide and over five feet tall.
Its vibrant blue colour matches ‘fan favourite’ flavour Berry Cherry Limeade.
“Fans have told us they love BuzzBallz so much, they wish they could swim in one,” said Jess Scheerhorn, the brand’s vice-president at parent company Sazerac. “Our legal team very clearly said no to filling a pool with cocktails – but they did let us make the next best thing.
“This is the first cocktail-inspired above-ground pool. Close your eyes and picture the perfect summer day: you soaking up the sun inside a giant BuzzBallz. Plus, there’s room for a friend… if you feel like sharing.”
The brand added that the pool is for lounging only and alcohol is not recommended during use of the pool.
Each pool comes with a lightweight ladder, branded pool cover, inflatable pull-tab floaty, and Lifebuoy pool alarm.
Valued at more than US$3,000, BuzzBallz will be selling the pools for just US$20, matching the RRP of a BuzzBallz Biggie. They will be available from 31 July, though purchasers must be over 21.
Sazerac acquired BuzzBallz for an undisclosed sum in 2024. Its recent marketing campaigns include a partnership with the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation.
