Preview: Bar Convent Brooklyn 2025
By Ted SimmonsThe drinks world will assemble in Industry City this week for annual showcase Bar Convent Brooklyn, with hundreds of brands and booths present – here are some we’ll be making a beeline for.

Drinks will be shaken, stirred, and served all across Brooklyn’s Industry City this week as Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB) takes over for another year of conversation and connection. The annual showcase has grown year on year, with 2024 bringing in more than 5,300 industry professionals – representing 27 US states and 48 countries – and 230 exhibiting brands. Last year’s show featured 52 educational sessions and 132 speakers, with 550,000 drinks and samples poured.
BCB now enters its seventh in-person year since launching in 2018. Main stage education sessions this year include ‘Thinking Differently: Embracing Neurodiversity in Hospitality’, ‘An Exploration into Alpine Spirits’, and ‘Building Better Rum Communities’, while additional seminars will be held in the Liquid Lounge and Park Street University rooms, as well as the VIP Lounge. There will be a greater emphasis on no and low, both on the show floor and within the educational seminars, while guests can expect the same show-stopping installations and activations that brands roll out each year.
While nothing can capture the energy of walking the BCB floor, here is a snapshot of what to expect in terms of spirits on offer and guest bartenders on tap.
Jose Cuervo
Stand: 7-BE-814
Jose Cuervo will be showcasing its eco-friendly initiatives through its Sustainable Sips activation. Featuring guest bartenders Tito Pin-Perez and Álvaro García Arroyo from Mexico City, the activation serves as an extension of the brand’s large Agave Project initiative. Cuervo will also host a Sustainable Sips Happy Hour on 11 June from 5pm to 9pm at Alma Negra in Brooklyn.
“We’re excited to be back at Bar Convent for the third year in a row – an essential event to connect with industry friends, share our rich legacy and help shape the future of what Tequila can become,” said Jaime Salas, head of Cuervo legacy and advocacy at Proximo Spirits.
“As an 11th-generation, family-owned Mexican brand, we take pride in our legacy as the Tequila that invented Tequila, and are committed to leading the evolution of the category for years to come. We’re excited to share more at Bar Convent this year.”
Weber Ranch
Stand: 8A-514
Round 2 Spirits will be bringing its 100% Blue Weber agave vodka back to BCB this year, giving attendees a chance to taste one of the brands leading the charge to reimagine the spirit. The agave is harvested and distilled in Jalisco before being transported to Weber Ranch Distilling in Muenster, Texas, where it is further distilled, filtered and bottled.
“BCB Brooklyn is a leading destination to showcase innovative brands and products,” said Lee Applbaum, president and COO at Round 2 Spirits. “For Weber Ranch Vodka, which is a truly disruptive product, exclusively crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave, BCB provides an ideal opportunity to showcase and pour our brand, while connecting with our many friends (and forging new relationships) in the bartending and hospitality community.”
Thomas Henry
Stand: 8A-608
Thomas Henry will be showcasing the full range of its two brands, Thomas Henry Premium Mixers and Undone Non-Alcoholic Spirits. Visitors to the brand’s Highball Hub will be served boozy and non-alcoholic highballs crafted by a cast of international bartenders.
With mixer brands like Fever-Tree and Q-Tonics becoming more mainstream in the US, Thomas Henry hopes to show this audience what premium mixers from Berlin and non-alc spirits from Hamburg can add to the market. “The US is a strategic growth and focus for us,” said senior brand manager Marco Frizzarin. “Same as last year, BCB Brooklyn is the perfect platform for us to not only showcase Thomas Henry and Undone to bartenders but to also build alliances with brands and distributors. Since it is not a massive bar show, there are plenty of opportunities for good conversations and time to actually properly catch up with people within the industry. We are looking forward to a great BCB Brooklyn.”
Cardenxe
Stand: 8B-755
Sotol brand Cardenxe will be taking guests on a gastronomic journey by sampling its three unique terroir expressions: Sotol de Desierto, Sotol de Pradera, and Sotol de la Sierra. Bartenders from The Cactus Shop in Brooklyn will be making fresh cocktails, with a guest shift from Ana Saba, who will be making her signature drink, La Fama.
The brand says it hopes to meet new buyers and consumers, creating a convivial space to hang out and catch up. “We love BCB,” said co-founder Luigi Ambrosi. “It brings to New York all the best spirits brands and founders, and it’s a great occasion to ensure that your brand stays relevant within the community.”
Brother’s Bond
Stand: IC6
From actors and best friends Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, Brother’s Bond will bring its full range of whiskeys to BCB, including its Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon. The brand is offering an elevated, sensory experience that will highlight the craftsmanship behind each expression.
“Bar Convent Brooklyn is where the best in the industry come together, and we’re proud to bring the full Brother’s Bond experience to this incredible community,” co-founder and CEO Vincent Hanna said. “The Brother’s Bond Reserve Room is more than a tasting, it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, connection, and the bonds that bring people together over a great Bourbon.”
Michter’s
Stand: 8B-808
American whiskey brand Michter’s will be trotting out nearly a dozen whiskies, including its 10-year-old rye and Bourbon and the recently released Bomberger’s PFG (Precision Fine Grain), which finishes Kentucky straight Bourbon in toasted and charred French fine grain oak barrels.
“We are excited for Michter’s Whiskey, Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, and Farmer’s Gin to return to Bar Convent Brooklyn,” said Lillie Peirson, vice president of marketing. “I’m always proud to showcase our brands, but the whiskey, the mezcal, and the gin are the real stars. Our production teams work so hard to make these spirits the best they can be, and BCB offers us the privilege of spotlighting them in front of the most important audience – the trade. The event is always inspiring, and I look forward to celebrating the incredible community that makes our industry so special.”
Gas Familia
Stand: 8A-614
Slovakian brand Gas Familia is bringing its Nestville whiskey, Goral vodka, and Original Spisska spirit to BCB, with its team feeling enthusiastic about meeting distributors and wholesalers in the US.
“We pride ourselves on continuing the rich tradition of manufacturing quality spirits as the third generation of family-owned and operated spirit manufacturers that oversee the entire production process from harvest to bottling,” said sales manager Viktor Fomichov. “We are looking forward to meeting with our potential customers, distributors and partners at BCB Brooklyn in June. We appreciate the opportunity to showcase our products and give a chance to sample for yourself.”
Hayman’s
Stand: A8-600
Hayman’s will be showcasing its range of London-made gins and launching its Freezer Martini campaign, demonstrating the ease and accessibility of the serve. The Hayman family has been making gin for five generations.
Co-owner James Hayman says BCB is an annual event for the brand: “We are looking forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new to update them on our latest news and activities. The Martini is an all-time favourite of my father, Christopher, and the inspiration behind our Hayman’s Freezer Martini campaign was to highlight the consistent experience of this pre-batch method to achieve the perfect texture and temperature of this classic cocktail.”
Lofted Spirits
Stand: 8A-505
In March, Lofted Spirits was created to oversee Bardstown Bourbon Company and Green River, and both brands will debut at BCB this year. The company recently elevated Dan Callaway to master blender and secured a US$50 million financing deal.
“Following our recent expansion into neighbouring states – Massachusetts (October 2024), New Jersey (January 2025), Connecticut (June 2025), and Rhode Island (June 2025) – we aim to showcase our internationally acclaimed lineup of Kentucky whiskies to the talented bar and beverage professionals attending BCB,” said Nicholas Lewis, vice president of sales – division east.
Angostura
Stand: 7-BE-903
Angostura will have a range of rums and bitters at BCB as a strategic initiative to enhance its brand presence, showcase product innovation and engage with key stakeholders in the industry.
Marketing manager Lawn Davis said: “Bar Convent Brooklyn is an essential platform for the House of Angostura to connect with the global bartending and beverage community. It allows us to share our legacy of craftsmanship and showcase our innovations while engaging directly with the trendsetters shaping cocktail culture. Our participation reaffirms our commitment to supporting the trade, inspiring creativity, and expanding the presence of Angostura brands in key international markets.”
Everleaf
Stand: EB48
Everleaf will be exhibiting in the new Low & No Emerging Brands section, showing its full range of non-alcoholic flavours: Forest, Mountain and Marine. The brand hopes to continue adding new on- and off-trade partners and building on the momentum gained in the US.
Commercial director Daniel L’Anson said: “BCB Brooklyn is a fantastic show to meet buyers from all over the US. We see the demand for high-quality non-alcoholic products growing year on year and this represents a huge opportunity for us. Bartenders love finding purpose-led products with excellent liquid, a strong story, and sustainability at the core. Everleaf is made from the world’s most wonderful plants and ticks all of these boxes.”
Heaven Hill
Stand: 8A-520
Heaven Hill and Elijah Craig will both have stands at BCB this year. At 5pm on 11 June, Heaven Hill’s Widow Jane brand will sponsor an industry party at Fort Hamilton Distillery. The company’s goal is to create authentic, meaningful interactions around its brands, including the newly launched Old Fitzgerald 7-year-old Bottled in Bond.
“For Heaven Hill and our portfolio, it’s about showing up with intentions,” said Dana Darley, senior events manager, whisky portfolio. “Bar Convent Brooklyn brings together the people who are actively shaping the hospitality world – bartenders, buyers, operators – and that’s exactly who we want to be in conversation with. Our goal is to create authentic, meaningful interactions around our brands. Whether it’s introducing something new like our Old Fitzgerald 7-year-old Bourbon or deepening connections with familiar industry faces, we’re focused on how our spirits live on the backbar, in the glass, and in the culture of modern hospitality spaces.”
