Matthew Lillard partners with Manifest Distilling
By Ted SimmonsThe new venture from Matthew Lillard’s Find Familiar Spirits and Manifest Distilling will support independent brands with custom blending and bottling.

Founded by actor Lillard and screenwriter/producer Justin Ware, Find Familiar Spirits has announced the creation of Expansion Pack, a new venture with Florida-based Manifest Distilling.
The new company will offer scalable solutions to craft brands including custom blending, branding, design, bottling, and help with compliance and logistics.
Since launching it line of fantasy-inspired spirits in August 2023, Find Familiar has sold more than 70,000 bottles, and will now offer its creative services via the partnership with Manifest. Thus far, Find Familiar has had eight releases, including a line of whiskies dubbed Quest’s End and a Tequila range aimed at horror fans.
“Great spirits, like great stories, are a larger-than-life experience,” Lillard said. “At Find Familiar, we like to think of ourselves as capturing imagination in a bottle. With ExPack, we’re giving that same opportunity to creators across the spirits community.”
Manifest Distilling was founded in 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida by David Cohen. Expansion Pack will likewise be based in Jacksonville, and as part of the venture, it has added a 40,800-square-foot warehouse for storage and fulfilment.
“Our goal with ExPack is to remove barriers for independent and craft spirits makers to make the spirit they dream of,” Cohen explained. “We’ve built a platform rooted in craftsmanship and care –precise, transparent and scalable. It’s about enabling brands to grow without sacrificing what makes them special.”
Lillard has starred in such films as Scream, Scooby Doo, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Find Familiar aims to bring the storytelling acumen and influence of Hollywood to spirits craftsmanship. Expansion Pack gets its name from the gaming concept of an add-on that deepens the original playing experience.
