Franklin & Sons teams up with Masons for RTDs
By Miona MadsenMixer brand Franklin & Sons and spirits producer Masons of Yorkshire have partnered to launch a premium ready-to-drink (RTD) can range.

The range debuts with two flavours: Original Gin & Light Tonic, and Vodka, Lime & Lemonade. It is offered in 250ml cans with an ABV of 5.5%.
Franklin & Sons, which offers tonics, soft drinks, and sodas, was established in 1886.
Lauren Edwards, brand manager of Franklin & Sons, said: “Partnering with Masons of Yorkshire marks an exciting new chapter for Franklin & Sons. Both brands are deeply committed to craft, provenance, and delivering an exceptional drinking experience – values at the heart of this collaboration.”
Masons of Yorkshire, the region’s first gin and vodka distillery, is a family-run operation based in North Yorkshire. The distillery offers a wide range of spirits made with ‘real’ botanicals and natural ingredients.
Karl Mason, founder of Masons of Yorkshire, added: “An RTD format has been on our agenda for more than two years. It was vital to find a mixer partner who shared our values, and Franklin & Sons was the perfect fit.”
The new 250ml RTD range is available now from online retailer Good Time In in a 12-pack format and directly from the Masons of Yorkshire website.
The 12-pack has a recommended retail price of £27.50 (US$37).
The launch is the latest in a line of collaborations between mixer and spirits brands, which began with Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola. It has since been joined by Absolut & Sprite, and Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold and Pepsi Max.
There’s a growing demand for high-quality, convenient RTD serves – but what makes one successful?
