Fielden sponsors Groundswell Festival

English whisky producer Fielden has been announced as the official drinks sponsor of Groundswell Festival 2025.

Fielden Whisky will be the exclusive alcohol partner of the ninth annual Groundswell Festival

Fielden Whisky, previously known as The Oxford Artisan Distillery, is committed to regenerative agriculture. The brand believes that ‘whisky is an agricultural product, and how we grow matters’.

Groundswell Festival is also dedicated to regenerative farming and sustainable land management. This year’s event will take place from 2-3 July 2025, at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire.

The festival unites growers, environmentalists, food producers, and changemakers to ‘share ideas and innovations that are shaping the future of farming’. Now in its ninth year, Groundswell features a diverse programme with more than 400 speakers and 200 sessions, focusing on the principles and practical aspects of regenerative systems and conservation agriculture.

The partnership with Fielden is said to reflect a shared commitment to soil health, biodiversity, and responsible stewardship of British farmland.

Dave Smith, CEO of Fielden, said: “Groundswell represents the future of food and farming in the UK. It’s where progressive ideas take root. We’re proud to support that mission and bring Fielden’s own vision of soil-first spirits to the heart of the community, driving it forward.”

As the festival’s official partner, Fielden will co-host two main banquets on 1 and 2 July, with whisky tastings led by the brand’s whisky maker, Chico Rosa.

Tickets for the banquet are £70 (US$95) per person and include drinks and a three-course meal. Tickets can be purchased only by Groundswell Festival ticketholders.

Fielden Whisky will operate a whisky bar that offers tastings and discussions on soil health and regenerative farming principles at its dedicated stand. Additionally, it will be the only whisky available at the festival’s main bar, The Earthworm Arms.
