Ex-Diageo director joins Cygnet Gin
By Miona MadsenWelsh brand Cygnet Gin has named former Diageo global commercial director Vedran Milosevic as its global managing director.

Milosevic assumed the role of the brand’s new global managing director yesterday (1 June).
The new appointment is said to mark a significant milestone in the brand’s evolution as it seeks to grow across key international markets.
Milosevic has joined Cygnet after serving as the global commercial director for luxury at Diageo, overseeing the company’s ultra-premium portfolio worldwide.
With more than 20 years of experience in the luxury beverage and hospitality sectors, he is said to bring extensive commercial expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for delivering luxury experiences to his new role at Cygnet.
“This is a truly exciting time to be joining Cygnet,” said Milosevic. “The brand is bold, modern, and beautifully crafted, positioned perfectly for a new generation of luxury consumers. I’m looking forward to leading the exceptional team at Cygnet to drive ambitious growth across the world’s most influential cities.”
The appointment comes six months after Cygnet Gin, co-founded by classical artist Katherine Jenkins OBE and social-impact filmmaker Andrew Levitas in 2023, welcomed ex-Campari Group CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti as partner and chairman.
Fantacchiotti added: “We are thrilled to welcome Vedran to our Cygnet family. As we prepare for our next stage of growth, particularly in the UK and US, and strategically seed our presence in global luxury cities, knowing Vedran for many years, I am very confident his leadership, global mindset, and luxury expertise will be instrumental in accelerating our vision and implementation of our plans.”
Last week, Cygnet was named as the official gin sponsor of the cultural festival SXSW London, taking place in Shoreditch from 2 to 7 June 2025.
Earlier this year, the brand unveiled a cask-aged Cygnet 77 Gin, which has been matured in Welsh whisky barrels with Manuka honey for more than 12 months.
