Citadelle Rouge lands in US
Maison Ferrand has launched Citadelle Rouge gin in the US, which is created with seasonal red fruits.

Citadelle Rouge gin originally launched in the UK and France in 2023.
Building on Citadelle’s flagship Original gin with 19 botanicals, Rouge is infused cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, and rhubarb.
The fruit-forward spirit pays homage to French distilling traditions, drawing inspiration from the history of transforming seasonal fruits into clear spirits.
To create Rouge, Alexandre Gabriel, the creator of Citadelle Gin, was inspired by a memory evoked by his wife’s berry and rhubarb jam. It reminded him of his grandmother, who used to make preserves using fruit from the orchards surrounding their farmhouse.
The fruit aromas are captured and converted from vapours into a transparent spirit through infusion and distillation.
Bottled at 41.7% ABV, the resulting gin displays notes of ‘tart berries with the tang of piquant rhubarb’.
Rouge will be available in the US starting June 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$29.99.
In May this year, Citadelle teamed up with MGallery Hotel Collection and Maison Sarah Lavoine to celebrate World Cocktail Month.
