Webb will step into the new roles at distiller and importer Hotaling & Co on 14 July.

Previous CEO Dan Leese announced in January that he would be departing the company at the end of June while staying on as an advisor through March 2026.

Webb brings more than 25 years of experience to the roles, including a 13-year stint at Brown-Forman where he spent five years as vice-president of brand strategy.

Following Brown-Forman, Webb served as vice-president finance and planning for Delicato Family Wines before working at Purple Brands for a decade, including serving as CEO since 2016.

While at Purple, Webb helped to launch and grow brands such as Redwood Empire and Benham gin. The Hotaling portfolio includes Luxardo, Nikka, Kavalan, Junipero gin, and more.

In June 2024, former MGP CEO David J Colo joined the Hotaling board as director, and in February 2025, longtime master distillery Bruce Joseph announced his retirement, stepping down after 45 years with the company.

Previously known as Anchor Distilling, Hotaling and Co rebranded in 2018 after losing trademark rights to the ‘Anchor’ name.
