The Whisky Exchange offers 23YO Jameson
By Miona MadsenSpirits retailer The Whisky Exchange (TWE) has unveiled four exclusive expressions for May, including the oldest Jameson Irish whiskey to date.

For May, TWE has unveiled an exclusive official bottling of 23-year-old Jameson and three Bourbon cask-matured Scottish single malts from Diageo-owned distilleries, bottled by independent bottler Signatory.
The Jameson 23-year-old is the oldest age-statement bottling from the Irish whiskey brand and is a blend of pot still and grain whiskeys drawn from four casks.
Bottled in 2024, the sherried small batch whiskey is bottled at 55.1% ABV and displays notes of poached pears, creamy toffee, pepper spice, sun-dried raisins, and vanilla.
The limited release retails for £325 (US$432).
The first of the Signatory bottlings, Linkwood 16-year-old, was distilled in 2008 and aged in a single first-fill Bourbon barrel.
Bottled at 58.7% ABV, the whisky offers notes of fruits, vanilla, spices, and floral, grassy notes on the palate.
Linkwood 2008 16-year-old retails for £89.95 (US$120).
The second release was distilled at the Clynelish Distillery in 2008 and aged 17 years in a single ex-Bourbon American oak cask, resulting in notes of white grapes, flat peaches, beeswax, vanilla, stones, chalk, and a hint of candied pineapple.

Offered at 53.1% ABV, Clynelish 2008 17-year-old is priced at £145 (US$193).
Concluding the retailers’ May-exclusive whisky releases, Mortlach 2003 has been matured for 21 years in a Bourbon cask before being bottled at 58.3% ABV.
The expression offers meaty notes accompanied by apple, pear, pineapple, candied almond, hazelnuts, and roasted peanuts on the palate.
The single malt retails for £245 (US$326).
All four whiskies are now available exclusively from The Whisky Exchange as long as stocks last.
Last month, TWE’s exclusive releases included Australian Rum 2014 and Ben Nevis 1996 28-year-old, bottled by Douglas Laing & Co.
The retailer recently shared more details about its new Tequila and Mezcal Show, hosted at Glazier Hall in London from 16-17 May 2025.
