Fair launches cucumber-flavoured liqueur

French spirits producer Fair has expanded its range with a new cucumber-flavoured liqueur to ‘freshen up’ summer drinks across the UK.

Fair Cucumber is distilled in Cognac, France, and made with ethically-sourced ingredients, the brand said.

Nick Gillett, managing director of Mangrove Global, the brand’s distributor, commented: “Fair has enjoyed a lot of success recently from on-trade listings, as bars begin to appreciate just how flexible these spirits are with many ways in which they can be enjoyed.

“Fair Cucumber is yet another example of that, and its moderate ABV will also give those looking for low-alcohol tipples another delicious option to try. Creating high-quality liquids in an ethical way is no easy feat, but Fair does it exceptionally well, time and time again.”

The clear liqueur offers notes of cucumber, spices, and hints of citrus, and is said to work well in a Margarita, Spritz, or with tonic over ice.

The launch follows the spirit brand’s two other new SKUs: Fair Chipotle Liqueur and Oaxaca Whiskey.

Fair now offers a range of 13 spirits, including nine liqueurs, aiming to offer consumers ‘ethically-made’ and ‘exceptional’ spirits.

Now available in the UK, the cucumber liqueur has an ABV of 18% and retails for £25.95 (US$34).
