The Whisky Exchange’s new show celebrates agave spirits
By Miona MadsenMore than 150 agave spirits will be on offer at The Whisky Exchange’s inaugural Tequila & Mezcal Show in London next month.

Known as the host of The Whisky Show since 2009, The Whisky Exchange announced two new London shows for 2025 last year: Welcome to Whisky, which was held in April, and the upcoming Tequila and Mezcal Show.
The new show is dedicated to all things agave and will be held at Glazier Hall on the banks of the River Thames.
The show’s introduction highlights a ‘significant’ increase in demand for agave spirits in the UK, with Tequila sales for the retailer rising by 94% over two years.
Kicking off on Friday 16 May from 12pm-4pm, a trade-only session will provide both on- and off-trade customers the opportunity to experience the full range of what agave has to offer.
The consumer-facing Tequila and Mezcal Show will run on Friday from 5.30pm-9.30pm and Saturday 17 May from 12pm-5pm.
Over two days, the show will bring together producers and ambassadors of agave spirits in London, offering consumers the chance to sample more than 150 different options from elegant and floral Tequilas to bold and smoky mezcals.
In addition to tasting various brand lineups, guests can participate in expert-led masterclasses to learn more about the appeal of agave spirits.
For cocktail enthusiasts, bar teams from The NoMad and Mexican restaurant 1910 Cantina will mix Margaritas and Palomas, offering unique spins on agave cocktails. Each attendee will receive a complimentary cocktail with their show ticket.
Additionally, fans of Mexican cuisine can explore a curated Mercadito mini-market featuring some of the top Mexican food stars in London, organised by Mexibrit, a comprehensive directory for all things Mexican in the UK.
Industry professionals can apply for a space at the Tequila and Mezcal trade session via the Speciality Drinks website.
Tickets for the show can be purchased from DesignMyNight, starting from £45 (US$60) per person.
