Mirror Hospitality Expo to return
By Lauren BowesBratislava’s Mirror Bar will host a two-day event at its home in the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel for a third year.

This year’s Mirror Hospitality Expo will take place 5-6 May and feature a blend of educational experiences, a market and tastings of local brands, and guest shifts.
The Mirror team will welcome 28 bars from across the globe, as part of a wider cocktail week in the city taking place 4-8 May. The bar added that a secret new event for this year is also in the works.
Bars already confirmed for the expo include representatives from Central Europe, such as Nouvelle Vague from Tirana and Purovōku Project from Thessaloniki.
Coming from wider Europe are the teams from Moebius Milano, Bird from Copenhagen and Lucy’s Flower Shop from Stockholm, as well as two bars from Paris: The Cambridge Public House and Little Red Door.
Guests from even further afield include Sydney’s Maybe Sammy, New Zealand’s Teresa, Toronto’s Barchef and Singapore’s Origin.
Topics will cover bartending-specific areas such as carbonation, as well as more soft skills. Educators will talk on issues such as sustainability and inclusion, with Franky Marshall speaking about The Ada Coleman Project.
Stanislav Harciník, co-host of Mirror Hospitality Expo and global ambassador for Mirror Bar, said: “Each year we have improved upon the last, creating a unique and memorable experience for everyone who comes.
“We’re honoured we can support the local community by bringing the global industry to them, and at the same time we’re proud to show our lesser-known region to the international bar community, and share what it has to offer.”
