Hooch goes from RTD to draught

Ready-to-drink (RTD) brand Hooch will debut its lemon flavour as a draught option this month.

Hooch has an ABV of 3.4%

The brand will launch at the Northern Restaurant & Bar show in Manchester today (11 March), before rolling out to UK venues from May.

The launch will include ‘vibrant’ tap handles and bespoke glassware.

The brand claims 53% of its consumers are between 18 and 44 years old and that the move into draught will help to grow this demographic, which it says are leaning towards lower ABV serves and fruit-led flavours.

On-trade venues will be encouraged to offer group orders and pitcher serves of Hooch.

Brand manager Jacob Barrett said: “This is a major milestone in the history of Hooch and we’re extremely proud to finally be unveiling the OG Lemon beverage as a draught option at NR&B this year.

“We’ve pulled out all the stops to make 2025 one of our biggest years yet, and this latest launch embodies just how far we’ve come in recent years. And the fun doesn’t stop here as we have plenty more exciting announcements in the pipeline for Hooch particularly as it’s our 30th anniversary this year!”

Franklin & Sons producer Global Brands bought Hooch from Molson Coors Beverage Company in 2023. The serve is made with vodka and real fruit juice, with an ABV of 3.4%.
