Tequila Celosa Rosé hopes to expand its European presence with the new deal with AliasSmith

Celosa Rosé was created by Jose Antonio Beckmann and Esteban G Beckmann, descendants of a 12-generation Tequila family that founded Jose Cuervo in 1795.

The exclusive distribution partnership with Stockholm-based AliasSmith aims to expand the brand’s market presence in Europe and Euro Asia.

The agreement was signed by Claes Puebla Smith, CEO of AliasSmith, and Jose Antonio Beckmann, CEO of Tequila Rosé, marking a significant step in Celosa’s global expansion.

The new deal will complement the brand’s existing distribution agreements with Montaner Pietrini in France and Spirits Brothers in the rest of the world markets, including Mexico and the US.

Smith said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Tequila Celosa Rosé, a brand that is redefining the Tequila category with its super-smooth taste and exclusive design. This collaboration allows us to enhance our portfolio and meet the growing demand for innovative spirits in Europe.”

The brand launched in France in 2022 and is made with 100% agave from the Jalisco Highlands. It is aged in Napa Valley red wine barrels.

Beckmann commented: “Our collaboration with AliasSmith marks a significant step in our global expansion strategy. Their widespread European presence and deep expertise will be instrumental in establishing Tequila Celosa Rosé in the best markets.

“With the premium Tequila market booming, this partnership aims to elevate the consumer experience and introduce Celosa to discerning palates across Europe.”

The partnership will officially launch at ProWein in March, where Celosa Rosé will be showcased at AliasSmith’s stand, L12 in Hall 5.

Earlier this month, AliasSmith announced the rebranding of The Romantic Agave Company-owned Beso de Agave premium agave concentrate.
