Meili Vodka was created in 2023 by Game of Thrones actor Momoa and Blaine Halvorson, a designer and brand creator.

According to the duo, Meili took nine years to develop, “combining exceptional flavour with sustainability at its core”.

The vodka is made with locally sourced grains and water from an ancient aquifer in Montana, ‘one of the purest water sources on earth’, and is single-distilled in a column still.

Meili’s bottle is made with 100% recycled glass, heated by fire to be repurposed and reused, creating unique bottles with antique texture and colouration.

To celebrate the UK launch, Meili will host a series of events in the UK throughout the weekend of 8 March.

The festivities will include a pub meet-up, a launch event, and exclusive one-on-one interviews, offering a unique opportunity to experience Meili Vodka firsthand while learning about the brand’s journey and values from its founders.

Momoa and Halvorson commented: “It took us over nine years to perfect Meili, and it’s something we never compromised on – all our dedication, love for the craft, sustainability  – and deep respect for the whole process went into this bottle – and we’re excited to share it with the UK.”

Meili Vodka is now available in the UK from Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange for £43.95 (US$56), and from Amathus Drinks for £43.20 (US$55).

At The Vodka Masters 2024, the brand was recognised with a Gold medal.
