Bushmills adds to Private Reserve series
By Ted SimmonsIn the second wave of releases in Bushmills’ limited Private Reserve series, each of the four new whiskeys showcases a distinct triple cask maturation.

Each of the new releases in the Private Reserve series were aged in a combination of Sherry and Bourbon casks before entering a different third cask. The two 10-year-old single malts were finished in Amarone and Mosctatel casks, respectively, while the two 12-year-old single malts were finished in Bordeaux and Tequila casks, respectively.
The whiskeys were overseen by Bushmills master blender Alex Thomas, and boast a vintage representing the year of distillation. All whiskeys are non-chill filtered and feature higher ABVs than the core Bushmills range.
