Soho House ups no-and-low focus

UK and North America-based Soho House venues have debuted a range of new no- and low-alcohol cocktails in the wake of increased demand.

No-and-low additions to the Soho House menus include a quarter-strength Skinny Tommy’s Margarita

The new alternative cocktail menu, created by Cyril Francoise, head of bars for the UK, Europe and Asia, includes an Energising P/Loma, a Hibiscus Nogroni, a Skinny Tommy’s Margarita and a Wildflower Highball.

Soho House said the addition of the new drinks offering reflects growing demand from members seeking ‘elevated, health-conscious options that don’t compromise on flavour or experience’.

No-and-low serves now make up 30% of the drinks offering across all Soho House locations in the UK and North America.

The Energising P/Loma is made with the gut-health elixir Three Spirit Livener, while the Hibiscus Nogroni is a non-alcoholic take on the classic serve made with Pentire Adrift, an alcohol-free botanical spirit produced in Cornwall in the UK.

For other creations such as the Skinny Tommy’s Margarita, a quarter-strength blanco agave spirit from Quarter Proof is used as a base and is said to provide a lighter Margarita experience as a result.

Meanwhile, the Wildflower Highball blends Seedlip Garden 108 with non-alcoholic apéritif Botivo.

A functional drinks section has also been added with a red berry and Sarawak drink made with cordyceps and maca, a gut heath-supporting Deeply Prebiotic shot, and Trip’s new Mindful Blend range.

No-and-low drinks were first introduced to Soho House menus in 2019.

The no-and-low market is worth US$13bn according to IWSR Drinks Market Analysis and is forecast to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6% between 2023 and 2027.
