No.3 Gin celebrates Dry Martini January

Instead of promoting an alcohol-free month, Berry Bros & Rudd’s No.3 Gin is inviting people to celebrate Dry Martini January to support the hospitality industry.

No.3 Gin
£1 per bottle sold will be donated as part of an initiative to help the hospitality industry

As January can raise challenges for the hospitality industry, the brand is encouraging drinkers to swap ‘Dry January’ for ‘Dry Martini January’ and enjoy indulgence with a purpose.

The gin brand is donating £1 (US$1.20) for every bottle sold as part of the initiative to charity Hospitality Action.

Dry Martinis made with No.3 Gin can be found on the menu at bars and restaurants across the UK, including in London at Duke’s Bar, the Rivoli Bar at The Ritz and Nobu Bar Portman Square. Other venues include Bohemian Arts Club in Manchester, Below Stairs in Leeds, and Lab 22 in Cardiff, Wales.

Alternatively, home bartenders can craft their own No.3 Perfect Dry Gin Martini using the brand’s recipe below.

Offered at 45% ABV with a suggested retail price of £39 (US$48), No.3 Gin is available for purchase from Berry Bros & Rudd, Waitrose Cellar, Amazon, Majestic Wine and more.

Last September, the gin brand crowned Martha May Markham, of Swift in London’s Soho, as the winner of its annual cocktail competition Unrivalled Classics 2024.

At The Design & Packaging Masters 2024, No.3 London Dry Gin was recognised with a Silver medal.

According to data by Greene King, 20% of Gen Z view the alcohol-abstaining tradition of Dry January outdated.

We recently looked into how the on-trade is taking a more optimistic approach to the movement in 2025.
