The eight single-cask whisky bottlings were selected from Highland and Speyside distilleries, including Craigellachie, Tamnavulin and Loch Lomond.

Four of the eight bottlings are offered at £60 (US$74), which Brave New Spirits said was to combine character, approachability, and affordability.

Boasting a white cap with crowns, the range includes a 9-year-old Craigellachie at 48.1% ABV finished in a Chateau Larose-Trintaudon barrique; 10-year-old Inchmurrin from Loch Lomond Distillery at 48.1% ABV matured in a first-fill American Bourbon barrel; 13-year-old Benrinnes at 51.9% ABV matured in a first-fill oloroso Sherry hogshead; and 14-year-old Teaninich at 50.1% ABV finished in a first-fill oloroso Sherry barrique.

The other four releases include 8-year-old Croftengea from Loch Lomond at 57.9% ABV finished in a first-fill Muscat Blanc barrique; 13-year-old Tamnavulin at 54.9% ABV finished in a first-fill Tokaj wine barrique; 13-year-old Blair Athol at 57.3% ABV matured in a first-fill oloroso Sherry hogshead; and 14-year-old Glenlossie at 54.7% ABV matured in a first-fill White Port hogshead.

Each bottle is said to focus on provenance, with age statements, cask information, and bottling dates stated on the individually numbered labels.

The bottler will also provide opportunities for retailers, on-trade venues, and distributors to select exclusive Cask Masters releases for their businesses.

A spokesperson for Brave New Spirits said: “The development of the Cask Masters range has been a long-term project for us. Many of our distributors have reported demand from customers for whiskies that combine high quality and great value, and we hope that Cask Masters will appeal not just to seasoned whisky enthusiasts but also to those new to the world of independent whisky bottlers.

“We are looking forward to presenting these new whiskies at festivals around the world, and to supporting retailers and distributors with their events and tastings throughout 2025.”

Brave New Spirits was established in 2020 and operates its own bonded warehouse and bottling hall in Glasgow and a second warehouse in Campbeltown.

In August 2023, the company received planning permission for its first distillery, Witchburn, in Campbeltown.

At The Spirits Business Awards 2024, Brave New Spirits was awarded the Spirits Bottler of the Year.
