Auction opens on one-of-a-kind Havana Club set
By Miona MadsenPernod Ricard-owned Havana Club rum has teamed up with ‘goldsmith to the stars’ Maison Raksha to create a one-of-a-kind set to be auctioned for charity.

Havana Club and Toronto-based goldsmith Raksha first debuted their collaborative partnership in November 2024 with a collaboration that was designed to capture the essence of La Cubanía – the lively spirit of Cuba that the brand represents in its global Cuban Mode campaign.
Now, they have created a luxury Havana Club set, which includes a one-of-a-kind 24-carat gold-plated pendant with five lab-grown diamonds valued at £7,000 (US$8,494).
The set, complete with a bejewelled bottle of Havana Club’s flagship 7-year-old rum, a silk scarf, and two embossed glasses, is set to take centre stage in a charity auction hosted by online whisky and spirits auction house Whisky.Auction.
The bidding opened on the auction house’s website yesterday (12 January) and ends at 8.50pm GMT on 21 January.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit The Drinks Trust UK, which supports the mental and physical wellbeing of hospitality professionals.
The special Havana Club set will be on display in The Whisky Exchange Covent Garden located at 2 Bedford Street, London, throughout the auction for prospective bidders to see.
Raksha is known for his celebrity jewellery designs, and has designed grillz and custom jewellery pieces for the likes of Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and Post Malone.
Last year, Havana Club reimagined its Icónica Collection, dedicated to extra-aged prestige rare rums.
Earlier this month, the brand announced that it is applying for a geographical indication (GI) for Cuban rum with the European Union.
Europe is a key market for the brand, which is not sold in the US due to a trade embargo. Last month, the US blocked the Cuban trademark for Havana Club under Joe Biden’s ‘No Stolen Trademarks Honoured in America Act of 2023’.
