Joining forces with Bemakers gives Slyrs a platform to extend its reach and share its Bavarian whisky with a global audience.

Hans Kemenater, CEO and master distiller at Slyrs, said: “Our ambitions include increasing our international footprint, fostering relationships with new partners and customers, and showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of Slyrs products to a broader market.”

Slyrs is one of Germany’s most prominent distilleries and is known for producing whisky and whisky-based liqueurs.

Currently exporting to several countries, Slyrs seeks to significantly increase its international presence and become a well-recognised brand in the global whisky market.

Kemenater added: “We aim to leverage Bemakers’ network to enhance our distribution capabilities and introduce our distinct Bavarian whisky to whisky enthusiasts worldwide.

“We can stay in control of our commercial activities and ensure we take our brand and products to market in a way that aligns with our overall strategy. And even more importantly, we can focus on the commercial operations of our business as we have Bemakers handling all operational, compliance and fulfilment-related efforts.”

Bemakers welcomes Slyrs to its portfolio of more than 150 brand partners who work with the company as its direct beverage distribution partner.

Morten Stengaard, CEO and co-founder, commented: “Slyrs is a prime example of a brand that is truly benefit from the Bemakers offering. They have built a strong brand in their home market and are now on a growth patch across borders, where they wish to maintain close control of their brand, positioning, pricing and customer relations. This is exactly where the Bemakers offering kicks in.”

Bemakers aims to simplify distribution for its brands by automating complex excise duties, tax, customs, and shipping procedures.

This year alone, the distributor has expanded its portfolio by partnering with Burning Barn English rum, Indian producer Radico Khaitan, Italian Vetz apéritif, Isle of Man-based distillery Fynoderee, and two Finnish distillers Teerenpeli and Arctic Beverages.
