Two flavours are available: Smooth Chocolate, which blends Kahlúa rum and coffee liqueur with cocoa, and White Chocolate, which has cream and a hint of coffee.

Whipshots is a vodka-infused whipped cream liqueur co-founded by Cardi B.

Cardi B said: “You know I’m all about keeping things fun, festive and simple – that’s why Whipshots teaming up with Kahlúa Chocolate Sips was a no-brainer for me. Combining Chocolate Sips with Whipshots is the perfect way to get the party started.”

Launched in time for the festive season, the new chocolate liqueur has an ABV of 16% and can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

For ‘an elevated experience’, Whipshots’ mocha, vanilla, caramel, and peppermint flavours can be used as toppings or pairings for the liqueurs.

Saragh Killeen, brand director of Kahlúa, commented: “This first-of-its-kind offering from Kahlúa is designed to encourage consumers to ‘Stir Up’ their typical cocktail experience and savour the moment.

“Kahlúa Chocolate Sips bring a new level of ‘deliciously easy’ convenience to chocolate lovers, ensuring a premium quality experience that is both exceptional and indulgent.”

Chocolate Sips is available throughout the US, including at Total Wine & More, BevMo, Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Giant Eagle and Absco, with a suggested retail price of US$24.99 for a 750ml bottle.

David Dreyer, CMO of Starco Brands, which owns Whipshots, added: “We are incredibly proud to partner with Kahlúa on the launch of Chocolate Sips. The two brands pair perfectly together this holiday season – simply whip, sip, sleigh.”

Whipshots launched in 2021 and debuted in the US on-trade in February 2022. In October of the same year, the brand announced it had sold one million cans.

Last year, Kahlúa partnered with actor and producer Salma Hayek Pinault for its ‘Stir Up’ marketing campaign.
