Campari Academy heads to BCB
By Miona MadsenEducational summit Campari Academy will return to Bar Convent Berlin (BCB) 2024 with a series of workshops and events curated by creative director Monica Berg.

The Campari Academy Suite will host BCB events, centring on this year’s theme: ‘Nine steps to success’.
Shifting from last year’s digital focus, 2024 will feature tangible and hands-on experiences designed to elevate bartenders’ professional journeys and provide them with all the tools needed to succeed.
This year, Campari Academy will also introduce its ‘Media Centre’, a new initiative to support bartenders in refining their professional profiles and advancing their careers.
On 14 and 15 October, the Campari Academy Suite at the Grand Campari Hotel, a creative takeover of Soho House Berlin, will host a range of tailored sessions, workshops, and talks designed to improve skills, promote professional development, and celebrate innovation within the hospitality industry.
Monica Berg, creative director at Campari Academy, commented: “We’re excited to unveil this year’s Campari Academy Suite programme, curated to offer a practical, hands-on educational experience for bartenders.
“Our goal is to equip them with the skills, insights, and tools they need to excel while also building meaningful connections within the industry. This year’s programme is designed to inspire and empower bartenders, helping them reach new heights in their careers.
“As creative director, being part of Campari Academy is incredibly important to me. The industry needs educational platforms that not only impart knowledge but also spark creativity and prompt genuine conversations.”
Scheduled for both days between 12pm-6pm, the Media Centre will offer one-on-one workshops that give trade advice on how to take the perfect portrait, build healthy relationships with the media, and stand out professionally in the industry.
In addition, during Monday’s workshops and Tuesday’s talks, attendees can register to attend at the Grand Campari Hotel reception on a first-come, first-served basis.
Both days will culminate in a collaboration between Campari Academy and Ellə’s Empowerment to create a bar that promotes diversity, individuality and equity while having fun with a delicious drink.
Running from 6pm-12am on Monday and Tuesday during BCB, the teams will work together to showcase a space where guests can unwind and be themselves, demonstrating how small details can make a big difference in creating inclusive environments.
In 2023, Campari Group opened its first education hub in the UK in the company’s central London-based regional headquarters.
