Mataroa heads to Italy for guest shift
Gin brand Mataroa will be part of a special guest shift in Italy, where Epiko will take residency at Patrick’s Kafé.
Symposium, like the convivial practice of ancient Greece that followed the banquet, where diners could drink, sing and have fun. Symposium, like Plato’s philosophical masterpiece in which Eros and the nature of beauty are praised. These are the assumptions that inspired the birth of this evening dedicated entirely to Mataroa.
Patrick’s Kafé, led by barman Patrick Cellina, has been a point of reference for years for quality mixology and attention to every detail. Meanwhile, Epiko, led by Paola and Roberto, is a small and young venue that encourages guests to ‘drink well’.
This partnership was born from the curiosity to try to mix the identities of the two Laveno cocktail bars, and break away from everyday life and stereotypes. The colours and scents of Mataroa will be the ideal setting for the sunset of this 2024 summer season.
