Mataroa Gin hosts event with Baba Au Rum
Greek brands Mataroa Gin and Baba Au Rum bar will hold two events on 24 August at The Romanos resort in Costa Navarino.
The one-day event will feature the team from the Athens-based bar making signature cocktails with Mataroa’s gins at two events.
The collaboration will host the Mataroa ‘Poolside Affair’ at The Romanos pool from 1.30pm to 5pm. Guests can enjoy the bar team’s creations at the swim-up bar and a Mataroa pool menu prepared by The Romanos culinary team.
From 7.30pm, the resort’s mixologists join forces with the Baba Au Rum team at the Anax Lounge for a ‘pairing of innovation and taste’ event, Mataroa ‘Sip & Savor Voyage’.
The evening will offer three signature cocktails based on Mataroa’s three expressions – Mediterranean Dry Gin, Pink, and lower-alcohol Happy, infused with cannabis and damiana – inspired by the ambience of Costa Navarino and the region’s culinary treasures. The cocktails can be paired with a Mataroa-inspired finger food menu.
The events are available exclusively for the resort guests.
Launched in 2019, the Greek gin is available in more than 17 markets, including in the UK through Amathus Drinks and La Maison du Whisky in France.
