Café de Lillet brings Parisian chic to NYC
Pernod Ricard-owned Maison Lillet is opening a pop-up experience in New York City in collaboration with Netflix series Emily in Paris.
The Emily in Paris-themed pop-up bistro, which is inspired by the show’s L’esprit de Gigi café, will be open from 14 to 15 August in the Boucherie restaurant in NYC’s West Village.
The experience will allow fans of the Emmy-nominated show to enjoy ‘French style, culture and unabashed femininity’ in the heart of Manhattan, featuring Lillet cocktails, iconic French dishes, and interactive musical and artistic experiences.
At the heart of the collaboration are Lillet’s two limited-edition Emily in Paris bottles.
Tickets for the event are available on the Tape website.
“Maison Lillet and Emily in Paris share so many commonalities, from a love of culture and style to a glamorous outlook on life,” said Kristen Colonna, vice president of marketing accelerator at Pernod Ricard USA.
“We are proud to bring the French sense of joie de vivre that Lillet and Emily in Paris share to our consumers and could not think of a better time than the Season 4 premiere.”
The brand has also created two Emily Lillet Royale cocktail recipes, available exclusively on the ReserveBar website.
Lillet blends French wines with fruit infusions, creating ‘an elegant, refined taste that draws a female following’, earning the nickname ‘L’apéritif des dames’: the ladies’ aperitif.
